[Curious] BMX Pads: Snaps vs. Velcro?

Just curious as to what everyone prefers. I experienced both when I was a kid and remember that while snaps were pretty much set and forget, the stem pad in particular was imposes to keep centered and was alway cocked to one set. Velcro pads were easier to set up but tended to work themselves loose as I rolled.

Plus, to my 1980s self, Velcro was 80s modern as opposed to the 70s-ancient snaps

I think stem pads are always crooked, no matter the attachment method! That said, I prefer Velcro™ to snaps.
