Garmin Edge App - Ultimate Pro Cycling Data Field

Hey guys!

I've created an app for the Garmin Edge devices and just wanted to share it with you all. It's a full screen data field in which you can find, in my opinion, everything you need to train or race with a power meter. If you don't have a power meter you can also use it, you'll find some blank fields but I think it's still useful. You'll find the app and more details in the following link:

https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/7714 ... 17dde41eb3

The app is totally free. If you like it I'll appreciate 5 starts in the Garmin web page or even better a review!

Regards.

I appreciate that you made it compatible with the Edge 130 Plus, but there's no way I could read all those fields! It will be a great data page for someone with a larger Garmin, though! Very nice looking.

Thank you sir. 130 devices are small and monochrome, I couldn't test it on them because none of my friends have one. I made it compatible with them just in case, but based on your post I should consider removing them.
I have a Garmin 520 and my friends 530, 830 and 1030 and it looks great on them!

Nice work. That is very cool I must say., but it's very busy and an absolute shed-tonne of data on one page! 😮

Possibly quite good for indoor training purposes? Not sure I could look down and register all (or any of) that data when hammering along outside.

I'll download it anyway and have a play.

It is really cool but that is a data overload for me. I don't know even on the 1030 I think that is too much clutter for me anyways.

After a couple of rides you'll get used to the app, you'll know exactly where each data is located and it'll be easy to quickly find what you need, give it a try 😉

Well done, that looks quite impressive. I have to say, though, that my 65 year old eyes would not be able to read that. I struggle enough to see some of the text on a standard 5 or 6 panel display on my Edge 530.

How did you find developing that? I thought about doing something myself - very much simpler, though, as I just want to know length of time my heart rate has been over a particular target rate. I'm sure, as a professional web developer, that i would be able to do it but, in the end, I decided I already spend enough hours sat in front of a screen, so I never took it further.

Thanks for that. I may take another look some time when I'm less snowed under with work.

Looks good. I've got a couple of similar "all-in-one" data pages, but they are more graphic based. But I think I actually may prefer your numerical format.

Are the font colours fixed or do they change with zones etc?

They just change in the power zone section (where the % of ftp is located) and in the W' bal % section.

If you click on the app link you'll find a YouTube video
