Did a ride with a bunch of guys about a month ago. We started in Hood River and went East past The Dalles and then south a bit before swinging back North and West.
It was a beautiful day, but we ended up with a stiff headwind headed back to Hood River.
Somewhere Southeast of The Dalles:
Heading up to Rowena Point:

I just got a link to pictures of a ride I did last summer from Vancouver to Whistler. It was a test ride for the Whistler GranFondo taking place this September. Awesome views.

Crossing the Skagit River on the way from Camano Island to Bellingham and back this morning
Snow geese near La Conner. Also saw a dozen bald eagles, 2 hawks, and 3 great blue herons.

TMB - this is Northwest of Ellensburg - chip seal goes for a good 12-13 miles out of town before hitting the asphalt. This is a really good climb although you have to get on the brakes hard on the way back down because of a hairpin turn right at the bottom of the steepest part.

Old McKenzie Pass east of Eugene should open up to bikes only early this year due to the low snow pack, maybe late April. The ride from McKenzie Bridge to Sisters and back is outstanding, about 75 miles. Watch the PNW forum, I'll post the opening dates.
