Tyre cracks

Hey,

Hope everyone is well.

I just noticed a few of these cracks in my tyre. Used for less that 1k miles.

Is this normal?

Hard to tell what's going on there, but I've seen cracks develop along the bead and eventually open up enough to cause a flat. In your case, I'd just keep an eye on it and see if it grows any longer or wider.

Here's your pic:

Tires often have an additional layer of fabric around the bead for protection, called the "chafer strip." It's not uncommon for the strip to peel away at the edge over time, but it can do its job for a long time after that starts. Hopefully that's what's going on here.

I don't think that's too important , just keep an eye on it for a while

Thanks all. I Google'd chafer strip and that seems be the thing!
