Vintage bike restorer and Rando from Sacramento, CA
Hello all. Longtime lurker and first time poster. Active rider with Cycle Folsom and RUSA through the Davis bike club. My main bikes are a Sage Skyline for road events and a custom Kona Jake for gravel and CX. My main reason for getting active with the forum is because I have ventured into the world of restoring 1970-80s vintage bikes the last few years and I wanted an opportunity to ask questions and share what I’ve learned over this period. Almost all Peugeots. I have completed a 1987 Triathlon, a 1971 PX10, a 1972 UO18, a 1977 UO9, a 1977 UO18c, and a 1982 P8.
Currently have two bikes in the pipeline. One is a 1977 PRN10e and the other is a 1974ish Allegro Shweitzermeister model 76 that was donated to me with the promise that I document its restoration.
