Fred Flintstones' Winter Tires

We can see where Fred got the name for his daughter.

These are Schwalbe Marathon GT365 which are currently installed as an interim season tire and are swapped out when "only studs will do" weather appears. It was just itching to snow here and certainly did come down to stay starting Nov 11. Could've been earlier, sometimes a huge permanent dump beginning Halloween or thereabouts, but snow near the beginning of Nov always makes the winter seem longer.

As shown, these tires do pick up the mini-boulders in the tread like a magnet due to all the siping I suppose. They might even help traction in some ways.
