Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is why you should get that color.

E is my favorite. D is good too. Hard to go wrong with any of them, though I'm not too partial to pink.

G. Definitely G. Because if you're going to be contrary, be contrary. Before I even saw the options, I was thinking: coral. I imagined white graphics, but that would be almost TOO much like an inversion of the traditional scheme. Using celeste for the name ONLY is brilliant. Don't put that color anywhere else (like in L) - not even the bar tape - especially not the bar tape.

Nice - too nice, actually - doesn't look custom at all.
Meanwhile, some comments on the others.

Unfortunately, the graphics arrangement isn't very helpful for your Gulf scheme. I like the color combo, too, but here it ends up looking awkward. Isn't the LeMans car a lighter, less saturated blue anyhow? Did you try it with celeste?

Pink? Pink and black is totally safe and conventional; pink and white, a little more daring; pink and brown or beige, totally benign. Pink and celeste? Might as well add monkey lights and streamers.

Yellow, well, again, like the Gulf scheme, in some cases the graphics end up making a mess of things, and when they don't (as in A, which like this last one looks very tasteful) you end up with something that looks like a BMC instead; but maybe you could put celeste bar tape on it.

Hope you're having fun with this as I am. Just make sure you go with option G.

Ordering the frameset later today. Assuming custom paint, the process will take 12-weeks. Here are my three finalists.

If you don't get the Gulf colours, you'll always wish you had. If you get the celeste with black graphics, that will look really good for sure; but... you may confuse your bike with every other celeste XR4 with black graphics.

I value more having something that no one else has.

No kidding. That coral colored version with celeste lettering would have been something else!

Not a fan of that swimming pool color aqua or whatever the hell its called. I know its childish and petty, but that is about the only reason I've never even considered Bianchi for my bike even though they must be fantastic bikes. I'm glad they have color options now though.

What blasphemy is that....Campagnolo wheel mixed with dura-ace crankset...you gets points for going with celeste, but you also get the bell of shame for mixing Campy and Shimano on your steed.

#SMH

Now you have to burn the whole thing.

While every Bianchi deserves full Campy, there is nothing wrong with Campy wheels on a Shimano equipped bike.

This whole thread should be burned. Supposed to be about custom color. As "custom" goes, this whole thing is a travesty.

Celeste is a "custom" color....it is "custom" to Bianchi, and it is "custom"ary to have a Bianchi frame painted that color.

The fact that Bianchi offers anything other than celeste is the travesty. This why we can't have nice things.

Dan, check your compass, you are so lost right now and don't even know it.

I have a number for a good therapist when you realize you need help. In the interim, I will pray for you.
