Number hanger Merckx info please
Hello all. I would love to ride a Merckx someday. Don't know a lot about them. I've been looking hard at this one on eBay. Does it look legitimate? Any signs of a wreck, or bent tubes that you can see? Do you think it's worth that amount? It sure has a sweet paint job. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.https://www.ebay.com/itm/EDDY-MERCKX-CORSA-EXTRA-PRO-BELGIUM-RIDER-MARC-Dierickx-TKR-No-Colnago/133596251781
I can't figure out how to make it so you can just click on the eBay item and go there. But I'm no good with that stuff sorry. Gave up after 20 minutes.

I have some share in the description of this frame... that is exactly what it should look like:
- a frame built in early 1989, probably for Domex Weinmann team profi Marc Dierickx
- should then be painted with the WD pattern (from above: navy blue, yellow, white)
- Marc Dierickx was able to use this frame later in the Weinmann team in the 1990 and 1991 seasons (at competitions - after successive repainting - or for training).
- the frame is painted in the TVJ model introduced in 1992
- Marc Dierickx finished his career profi after the 1993 season
- I do not have any information on the tubes used to build this frame (SLX, TSX or 753 choice)

Beautiful frame set! My size too, for riding but not spending!

Nice bike and nice history. Dierickx is a big lad! I’ve been looking for a Merckx Leader but they are fetching quite strong money at the moment.

Thanks everyone, and Makaron. I'm on the fence about it. My number hanger Rossin I got from Spaghetti Legs rides awesome. And I only have four bikes, lol. So it's a tough call.
