Would take about 20 minutes with a drill bit held in a chuck in your hand; you could be waiting a lot longer for such a longshot.

Also, I could by DT Swiss, Wheelsmith or any number of different manufacturers. Actually, I can probably get straight 15 gauge spokes at the LBS.
Why would I do any of those options?

Pieces for ‘73 Gitane TdF
Hello everyone,
picked up a nice 73 gitane TDF Friday. Very nice but going through an identity crisis of sorts. Looks like it thinks it’s a radonneur which we know it isn’t. I plan to help put it straight.
ISO : set of Mafac racer or competition levers with decent hoods. (Pic below)
ISO : Simplex criterium downtube shifters. (Pic below)Thought I had one but can’t seem to find
I have early 70s weinmann brakes levers /calipers or other parts to offer or cash.

As far as I know, the 7200 DA group wasn't indexed (link to Velobase).
Do you mean the downtube friction shifters, or are you thinking of another group?

It is mostly here but some spacers and a top nut and ring for the threadless stem. As we know the cables and housing will need to be replaced, as with the consumables. Thanks for the interest. Smiles, MH[/QUOTE]
Oh, so tempted to get this, build it & donate to it to our local co-op. Thus keeping the philanthropy going. 😊
My concern is that an unscrupulous staffer will sell it for a fraction of what it’s worth or it will disappear out the back door. ☹️
Cheers,
Van

This is the fork I rec'd from Spaghetti Legs. I am very pleased with the way this worked out. I sold a 6600gs derailleur, came off a Lemond Tourmalet, to a member of a different forum, used those funds to purchase the fork which is now going on the Tourmalet. I am switching that to threadless and the original threaded fork was too short to accomplish that. I love these 3 person deals that benefit all.
I like the matte finish
