Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I had to give up B and J's. Always ate the whole pint

Doc said it was just a wee little bit of Avastin because I asked if I needed to consult with my oncologist first and he said it was such a little amount that it would be OK. Maybe the wee bit will be wee priced.

Also, I really get two injections per treatment. One of lidocaine and one of Avastin.

She drove up in a shiny new red Bentley which I believe costs well into the six figures.

I was going to say something snarky like "if you can afford a Bentley, you can afford an electric fence for your dog" but chose to take the high road.
Very generous.

Really, any eyeball injections is a lot. I'd like to get through life with a solid zero.

I heard a caller on Dr. Zorba talk about these and he said the shots aren't painful because it's numbed.

It's not even the thought of pain that gets me. No, it's anything going near my eyes. Just shoot me.
