I just picked up a Cyclepro wheel truing stand. Wont have time to use it until this weekend. Any though on this stand, good or bad? It looks more like a consumer quality piece than a pro bike shop unit.

I sold a few of these in the 1980/1990s. They are pretty flexible and weren't really made to fit the newest rear hub spacings. But they are slightly better then using brake pads for rim indicators. At my shop we took the axle /upright loop off and directly mounted it to our service write up station bench. Made checking out wheels for truing a quick and easy job, and in front of the customer too. But we all went to the Park or Var stands for the real work. Andy.

I didn't think I was ever going to find one on CL at a good price so when this one popped up I just grabbed it. I guess I'll know when I start truing wheels this weekend. I think it'll be fine for now.
