One of my cousins was trained as a sniper. He was over there and punched out an officer, got in a bit of trouble and sent home. He loved to fight.

A car accident that busted up my knee kept me from enlisting in the navy. After doing some political reading I wised up and went back to university.

I grew up in a heavily Mennonite area. Think Floyd Landis. I've always identified easily with him because I know his upbringing.
Anyway, my two best friends got #4 and #25 that first year, and did voluntary service. Not even questioned. I was NOT Mennonite, and was therefore draftable.

Evidence that I kind of know what I'm doing:
About ~1900g for the set, sans time tape and skewers.
Not light by any means, but they should be solid.
I think I should start building lower spoke count wheels. These 36°ers take so much time to lace and tension.

AG had a set laced by a friend with the valve between spokes that crossed closest to the rim...
