I don't know how to break this to you, but I'm pretty sure a number of people already do this.

I saw you guys talking about this before. Does wahoo do the same thing? I find it strange that it would know. I guess if you live in PHX than you are always at 100 percent?
Does it do the same thing for cold weather riding?

I had all intentions of getting up and doing a metric before the temps hit 90s but I’m moving slowly. Heading out soon and planning on low intensity and turn around when I feel like I’ve had enough and still get home, guessing 30 or so.

Who knows? It’s a relatively new feature.

Seems like I'm starting to get acclimated to the warmth. Not suffering quite as much as I was before. I'll see later today, though - not getting out until 9am and should be out through 1pm or so; forecast calls for low 90s again.

Im assuming it’s a combination of heart rate, power temp etc??
which Garmin?
I actually like the heat when my route is relatively flat, but I couldn’t take it yesterday. One of the hills hit 18% for a decent stretch (4-500 feet) and I actually had to stop. Can’t remember the last time I had to stop on a climb.

Raised veg bed update - it looks like I will be getting a good number of Thai hot peppers this year.
The habanero isn't looking nearly as productive.

Indeed. The headwind is preferred in very hot weather.

With either of these, you can't use too much. It's always nice to have a little soil in the mix, for structure.

Yesterday's coffee experiment will not be repeated today. Back to instant. The real reason for the experiment was to see how it would affect me, for the very early morning drive to the airport. It passed that test with flying colors.

They're good, better than a lot of stuff, but still need a lot of work. I wouldn't (don't) focus overmuch on them.
