Build NOT complete, since it's missing a brake (unless this will only be ridden on private road or a track)

Nice job! I really like the minimalist aesthetic, and the coaster brake is a genius idea in that context.

Your bike build is like a supermodel without makeup. True beauty in its natural state. Congratulations

It is what you wanted, you built it, now enjoy riding it! My just finished re-build, also my first, is an- early 90's steel road bike. I made some changes to accommodate my physical limitations, due to injuries and age. I had it powder coated. It is once again my favorite bike to ride. I have posted pictures of it a lot, but I am going to post just this one, one new bike re-builder to another.

I like it!

Just curious about the costs of powdercoating? Where i live the only places that do powdercoating wanted an arm & two legs to do it. If you would rather not say, thats ok as well, i understand.

powder coat

I live in south-coastal Delaware. I had mine coated by a fellow in Lincoln DE, about 30 miles north of where I live. I could have had a single stage coating with powder he already had for $100. I was going to do that but I kept coming back to the color it is, Illusion Rootbeer. It is a two stage coating and the powder was special order, so the price was $180. I could have had a two stage with powder on hand for $150. He did an awesome job. Where do you reside?
