You guys are a tough audience. My hands are going numb after about 2 minutes of riding. The higher bar position seems to help to reduce the weight on my hands and the numbness. I didn't get the bike for racing. I wanted a more nimble, speedier bike than my Specialized Roll which is a bit of a tank.

While I'm at it..... The bar tape shown in the earlier pic has been replaced with Serfas purple. I like it.

Finally finished my (first) build today, found a cheap 1972 motobecane frameset on FB that a guy had powdercoated. He sold it to me with headset and BB for $110--a pretty solid deal.

Leader 722ts, my very loyal companion since 2012. Built her from the ground up myself (save for the wheelset) and have been immeasurably happier ever since.
Been doing some refreshing/have more money for parts these days. Good things are coming Updates to follow.

Just finished converting this Velo Sport to a single speed. Left on the Adamas AX brake calipers but took all t he other Adamas AX stuff off except for the wheels and hubs.
Cheers
Edit: Got lucky today and bought a pair of brake levers that allow me to route the brake cables inside the handlebar. Brake levers have cable adjusters as well as adjustable reach. The shop sold them to me at their cost as the levers and been ordered by someone who decided they didn't want them and they've been sitting there for quite some time.

Yeah, I was liking versions 2 and 3. I’ve taken my bikes back to touring bars. Here’s the RockHopper.
Really liking this rig. I did a long ride yesterday in ridiculous winds with gratuitous hill climbing including steep gravel and it worked great! Particularly great for rides where a lot of standing is needed.
