This post was made when I was blissfully ignorant.
More BS due to financial reason I'm changing my blood thinner. More abiut that later. Also, I have some sort of eye problem that I need to see the eye doctor about. Can't focus well. Not sure if is just eye strain from needing more power for my reading glasses. I already have a lazy eye and I think the other one is the problem. Plus, I was referred to another Doc for discussion about a drug to regulate heartbeat. A mucking fess! To top it off my insurance company might get dropped by the hospital system I use Starting next week and I'll have to find new in network providers.

My wife just bought a four pack of those tests from the grocery store. Much more accurate than I expected. We're using them for our kid going forward. Fighting to get an appt for a less reliable immediate test makes little sense. Sniffles or a cough and we have to test to go to school. The Pfizer kids vaccine can't come soon enough.

Well we went and I thought I'd come back and post some prices in case someone else comes along and searching this same question. We ate at Primo's Pizza on 7/3/2016. One slice of cheese pizza was $6.99. One 16oz cup of lemonade (the smallest size available) was $4.49. So, 3 drinks and 3 slices rang up at $36.50 including tax. There may have been a cheaper way of ordering if you have a larger party and get a whole pizza or look at some of the meal deals. I have to mention that they served our slices on paper plates all stacked on top of each other, so the cheese of one was totally stuck to the bottom of the plate of the next one...pretty bad service when you're paying that much $.
We also had ice cream at Six Below. One scoop was $5.49. If you want it served in a cone, that is an additional $0.79 and the waffle cone is $1.29. So 3 scoops, 1 waffle cone and 2 regular cones rang up at $20.50 including tax.
All in, for dinner and dessert for me, my 8 year old, and my 5 year old totaled $57.

Made a map of what I will call the "through route" of my tour:
Ride with GPS | Bike Route Planner and Cycling Navigation App
It does not show the many miles of day riding I did in and around Burlington, which included a trip north to ride the causeway. It also omits a some miscellaneous mileage where I started to go certain ways but had to turn back because of road conditions. Finally, it does not included mileage within campgrounds and in Hyde, where I did a few miles riding from my motel to a wine store and laundry and back. I had to fudge it between Taconic State Park and Millerton because Google Maps, which RWGPS uses, does not yet show the recently completed trail section between those two places. Shortened the first day by avoiding miles along the lake due to a steady 15-20 mph headwind with stronger gusts. Odometer, which was at 0 when I left the house for the train station a couple of miles way, ended up at 650. Sounds about right when you add the excluded mileage described above. I checked the computer against some road mile markers a couple of times and it was pretty much spot on.
According to RWGPS, there was 28,790' of climbing. Average of only about 49'/mile. Not excessively hilly, but due to a healthy number of trail miles, that figure doesn't tell the entire climbing story.

So how is it that I go to an urgent care place run by a major hospital and it bills my insurance provider for a "OFFICE/OUTPATIENT NEW LOW/MDM 30-44 MINUTES" when, in fact, I was only inside the building for about 20 min. and with the actual doctor for maybe 5 min.?
I went the Friday morning before Labor Day because I had what turned out to be a small stye. I was worried that it was pink eye or something else contagious
