Addiction LXXVIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

#2 by a country mile, followed by #8 and then #3 for a little variety.

....but I would scarf down 'em all.

I don't need no stinkin' leg warmers at 50°.

Well, unless it's a damp 50°.

Ooh I had forgotten that there's a 70 mile route through Kettle Moraine South that I've always wanted to do. Thanks for the reminder

Last year I did a 200k that went mostly north/south through central/central-east WI. Best route I've ever ridden.

Oh, ****! I only looked at Vol's post and didn't see that there were options beyond #9 .

Yeah, wedges are great. Steak/Belgian/Chips are similar enough to me that I feel like it's splitting hairs to mention them separately.

Sweet potato don't belong on the list, though. I mean, I like 'em, but they don't belong.

It's the land of Laura Ingalls. Well, in her Little House in the Big Woods days. It's a great area but suuuper purty with nice fall color.

Some of the climbs will kick my fat ass, though.

Maybe 12 years ago I dated a woman who lived in Harrisburg. I can solemnly swear that there is nothing fun to do in the city itself, unless you like miniature golf. The coolest thing was the tour of the state capitol building, but I have to believe that’s shut down right now.

Anyway, after toiling for weeks in obscurity, at last my mowing finally counts. Someone will be there to appreciate the finely trimmed lawn.
