OK, so you said 'twist', which implies to me like the pistons are rotating as they move in and out. They say and show what I would call just 'flex', and then as the pads wear, tiny amounts of 'slip' to maintain a consistent pad-to-rotor distance.

"roll" is what we'd say for o-rings but these are not exactly o-rings
