Hi everyone,
I am really interested in what are the most painful problems that you face on a day-to-day basis as a cyclist.
Thanks,

Here's a start.

Next is what motorists do instead of just yelling at you.
And then there are road conditions, like potholes and rough, layer on layer of patchwork asphalt that make me lose parts or loosen fasteners and joints.

I have chronic spinal issues that cause quite a bit of discomfort and pain. However, my most painful daily challenge is my arthritic left thumb. It affects so much every day. It is one of the reasons I have been trying out different set ups on my bikes. I have found that I really like Velo-Orange Porteur bars, and now have them on my Poprad. I ordered another one, but will have to see which bike it will wind up on. It eliminates most of the pressure put on the thumb when biking with drop bars.

Outside of some of the posts I read and some of the things I post, not much.

Have you tried talking to an orthopedist for interventions along the lines of Stem Cells, perhaps some type of modern cartilage/spacer injection or other therapy or procedure? Specifically not talking about Cortisone which is just a symptom treatment.

i feel you on that one. I have become a bit addicted and have been trying to withdraw a bit. After all, it is self inflicted pain. I believe I need to just say no, and go cold turkey. But, I did just pay my 2 year subscription. Heaven forbid I waste that huge sum of money.

Having to work to make money and dealing with staff incompetence or customer incompetence! Beyond that cycling is pretty great. I guess I wish certain bikes I owned could fit wider tires without changing the set up much and also some how it could be more upright again without changing set up. I just want magic on that front.
