Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No, because if you were a satirist, what you wrote would have been funny.

As noted immediately above, your posts are not satirical. Seriously.

Guys, just try to enjoy the occasional offbeat threads and not get so personally offended. After all, nobody is forcing you to continue reading them. Am I right?

How will the OP hone his satirical writing skills without honest feedback from his intended audience? It would be a crime to stay silent and let him believe his posts were the slightest bit humorous.

I don't think people are getting personally offended- I think it's ptsd from TimTak. If you know, you know.

Guess it’s now OK to start threads for the purpose of making people look like, and I quote, “suckers.” BF should add that to the rules.

My "satire" threads have been with the intent that most or all readers understand and appreciate the satire, not to... "provoke responses" and then shrug it off with a "LOLJK".

Isn't it somewhat comforting that you can be part of a group that can be suckered?

I've changed my mind. Beng1 jumped the shark with this thread. Larry is back to being my number one crap poster.
