While checking on a water leak at the foundation, on the far side of my house this morning, I found an in the ground yellowjackets nest , but unfortunately they found me first . Three times on the right leg .
That was about six hours ago and my knee and calf are still burning.
No riding today . ☹️

The burning in my bee stings went away , replaced by an itch . Better than the burning .
BTW . None of those yellow jackets from that nest will ever sting anybody again . 😋

My best friend decided to dust his bike off today for the first time in (I believe) over a year. He's also a Clyde, and starting from square one, so it was a bit slower than I'm used to - but he got it done. I'm proud of him, and hope he gets out a few more times this year.

I have about 50 miles left to hit 400km for the month.

9/1 - 42.15
9/2 - 37.58
9/3 - 31.36
9/4 - 39.43
9/6 - 2.71
9/8 - 17.40
9/15 - 4.32
9/16 - 17.30
9/18 - 5.30
mtd - 197.53
ytd - 1383.7

I hope the vaccine does its job and keeps their symptoms mild, and that you'll be riding together soon.

Break in the rain this morning allowed me to ride on wet pavement. It rained most the night , weve got flood warnings issued but with our elevation, its never an issue .
Rode the SS MTB this morning.
Bee stings are still bothering me . I dont remember them bothering me this long when I was younger.
