Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

After lots of weights, I hammered out a 2 hour Zone 3 ride today. I guess that's my new Saturday plan. Jeez it hurt but I should recover enough to do a pesky 3.5 hour Z2 ride tomorrow.

That was in response to his inquiry as to whether I shop at JC Penny. I don’t despite the fact that it still exists.

I also don’t shop at Walmart. Mostly out of fear that I may show up on the people of Walmart website.

Wow, you delivered the goods. That valley shot is stupendous. File pics are fine, Google images, not so much.

Haven't tried a Kona yet.

All I have to offer is after doing approx 3000 mile trips in 2019 Hyundai Elantra and 2020 VW Jetta, the Elantra is a better car.

Couldn't you have little logos embroidered somewhere unnoticable? Bam, uniforms.

There have been court cases involving lawyers trying to write off the cost of suits. We’ve been rejected at every turn.

If I knew a way to do it, I would.

I could have ridden by a JCPenny today, but I didn't because there's a lot of lights on that road. Instead, I did the suicide run under I-75. #CyclingContent

Then they were still using Mitsubishi engines and I think that one is carbureted. (barf). My ex bought one of the injected ones new in 1990 for $6k. Other than routine maintenance the only thing I ever did to it was an alternator and rebuilt the clutch slave cylinder. Sold it to a guy at work with 100k miles and last I heard he had it up to 140k miles with no repairs.
