Sidewall bubble
Hey guys,
Mounted my brand new Rubino Pro G2.0+ onto the back wheel and seated at 120psi. Noted this from the logo. Popped with a tiny bit of presure.
Theres no bulge and the tyre is holding pressure. Should i be concerned?

Still kicking.
I would not try to ride with that tire. The casing threads shifted/were faulty.

1. The tire is fine. It was damaged in shipping/in plant. Not uncommon to occasionally get some bubbles or popping on the casing when it finally get pressurized on the rim. Some gases or air voids left in the casing from when it was made.
2. The hole - presumably from popping that bubble - is also fine. The cords do the work. None of them are broken. The tire isn't bulging and assuming the air is still in the tube and it didn't flat.
3. Sure it's not what you want to see in a new tire. Take it back to where you bought it.
4. If you ordered it online from a large cheap priced discounter and it came without packaging then *shrug* it is what it is and ride it.
For all these people who see the slightest little tire defect and think that means the whole thing is liable to assplode any second - I simply invite you to spend any real time in any bike shop and look at the completely dry-rotted out tires that hold 100 psi that come in and out of shops daily that people continue to ride on for years.
So your tire is fine and will have a long life. If you can get it back to someone responsible in the supply chain then they would most likely replace it for you.

1. I assumed it was the case and there's no possible way it's a punture, seeing as the rubber was air tight and the tyre was brand new in box before mounting.
2. Yes, i popped the bubble. It's mounted in tubeless configuration with stans, and is holding pressure fine.
3. Rather not bother, it was a $40 online purchase.
4. Assume this is the case. It's still mounted to the rim and i stuck the flap down with a little bit of vulcanising rubber glue.
At this stage i'm feeling pretty confident enough to ride it. Can't see it being any more dangerous than a dynaplugged hole.
