Canyon bikes and customisation?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Canyon bikes and customisation?

Guys who have ordered from Canyon. Any idea if they will change size of bar/stem? I need a M which comes with a 100mm stem, and a 42 cm bar. I prefer a 90 and 40. Do they accommodate these changes?

I’m interested in their Endurance cl 7.0 or the 8.0 but they come with a semi-compact crank. I called them earlier this week to ask if they could ship with a full compact. They said they were unable to make any changes on the way the bike ships. I’m assuming this applies to the stem as well but give them a call or shoot them an email. Their response was very prompt.

I'm looking at the Endurace CF 8, and it comes with a 50/34 [at least in the EU site]

Yeap. Looks like they spec the bikes differently for the American market. I wonder why.

I recently purchased an XL Endurace, it came with a 120mm stem. Prior to purchasing, I asked for a different length stem, but was told that changes were not done.

However, I was able to purchase a shorter stem by calling customer service. The stem usually sells for $50. The customer service representative provided it at a discount.

Probably too late to respond but they were happy to swap the stem to one that I wanted. I also wanted a different crank length but they said that wouldn't be possible. Didn't ask for a different handlebar width but I'm guessing they would accommodate that. This was Canyon EU back in 2015.
