Interest in a Portland, OR SWAP in June?

Missing swaps. So much on CL that begs to be brought to a swap. Alternative is to have a driveway sale at the house. Don't have access to a public venue, could accommodate a couple other sellers at the house but would enjoy a larger area like a parking lot.

Thoughts?

It would depend on the date, but if I'm around, I'm in!

sounds like a great idea ! used to be a few swaps a year in PDX before pandemic . not sure i have enough to sell but definitely would buy some parts . there used to be a decent sized swap at Portland Community College in NOPO . you could easily pick a centralized park like Laurelhurst or Mt Tabor and spread out near some picnic tables or grass. or parking lot near bike shop: there was a swap at the food cart pod next to Bike Gallery on Sandy and one at parking lot next to BackPedal near Mt Scott Park

So, it's the ol' throw the keys in a bowl, pass it around and pick one out?

And I thought Portland was already a giant never-ending bicycle parts swap meet.

So we don't do a Portland swap on June 14th.

I'd be interested in coming and drooling on bike parts.

If it's going to be kinda-sorta organized, make sure it's added to the Pedalpalooza calendar.

Oops, I read Cascade's website incorrectly - the June 14 date was for last year, and apparently the swap was cancelled anyway. No current info on their site about 2021, although they are planning for March 27, 2022
