Recommendations for Online trainer apps?
I have a Ken Kinetic "smart" trainer but have only used it with Kinetics training app on my iPhone. I believe I could get it to display on my iPad for better (bigger) images. There are so many programs; TrainingPeaks, Zwift, TrainerRoad, and others. What are the pros and cons of those (and any other) apps? Any recommendations?

Have a look at RGT. they offer some free part for free. pretty sure all others do too but those are trial periods. still i would try them though. i gave zwift a go and i do like it but i have some issues with it. i've only used RGT a handful of times, just not enough riders like in zwift so they supplement with bots. i didn't know that at first, i had wondered by all the riders were girl names and all from the same country.
anyway, as i said, they generally all have a trial period so...try them.

As an aside, TrainingPeaks is not a trainer app, it is a fitness tracker and planner, somewhat similar to the way the Garmin Connect or Apple Health app keeps a record of your workouts, your level of fitness, etc.

I really like Rouvy, it has structured training and the video and feel is based on actual roads, versus the game like visuals of Zwift. They have thousands of routes, and you can even do group rides if you want. 14 day trial period as well.

trainer road has a free week, and you don't have to get someone to give you a code or give them your credit card number

I ride indoors a lot due to my wife’s health.
I use Rouvy, Zwift, Systm and VirtuPro. The most used is Rouvy because it gives you the outdoor feeling the best. I have even started videoing all my outdoor routes too.
Zwift I use to ride with other riders in my city.
Systm(Sufferfest) is used just for training. Love the mini player as I can train and watch a tv show.
VirtuPro is a pro cycling app. You have teams of riders and ride tours of races and one day races. Based on Pro Cycling Manage a popular cycling game. It has the best computer graphics of the computer animated apps such as RGT or Zwift.
All the pro racing courses are there and are updated yearly as they change.
it depends on what you want to do.

I, too, like Rouvy of all the training apps I tried. Unlike the animations used in Zwift, all routes in Rouvy are videos of real places. Rouvy has 100s of routes all over the world of various levels of distance and difficulty.
