Short seatpost and short stem indicate that the frame might be a bit too big for the rider. This definitely adds a chill to any warmth that might be present. Fenders bottle, and, and seat bag aren't helping much, either.

I'm still searching for the exact right color blue for the bar tape, but this is as close as I've been able to find so far. It used to be that Cinelli's blue was a dead-on match, but they seem to have changed their shade in the last 15+ years

New tires (Pirelli P Zero Race TLR). I think a lighter color sidewall would look better.

In my opinion, I would stop searching for the perfect blue, and go black. Unnecessary matchy-matchy.

+1 on the hotness. I would usually agree on black tape, but not feeling it with that paint scheme/fork. I keep looking but can't think of any color that doesn't look a bit off.

The Storck is mint. The Colnago needs black tape, and the fork painted to match the frame.

Black tape isn't going to happen on the Colnago. It's a 2001 model with a Mapei team paint scheme. Mapei team bikes of that era had a black carbon fork and matchy-blue bar tape. As such, my hunt for the right blue tape will continue, and the fork will stay black. Ideally, the fork should be the Colnago Flash model, but the current price for that fork on the used market is above my level of sensibility. Likewise, the ideal bar tape is Mapei blue printed with "Colnago" in white.

i wouldn’t call my bike a “replica” because it’s not the same model frame as the team bikes. It’s the same paint scheme, which is classic and distinctive for Colnago, and I am using that as my guide because it also appeals to my appearance sensibilities.

So, took that advice and tried out a newer, lighter, but not too out of place saddle I had kicking around. New stem and bars too… venturing into carbon fiber.
