Started off mild but soon became wet and windy here in the UK, as winter progresses its time to get out the waterproof jackets and warm headwear
This remains from the recent paste up festival in east London, soon to be dissolved like rice paper by the wet weather.
I like the glitchy pixelated effect on this anything but timid rabbit

I first photographed this building with a Romeo and Juliet mural a few years ago.....
...opposite this building there has been a new addition, a new bench and sculpture of the great bard himself, William Shakespeare, "what light through yonder window breaks"

Went out this afternoon for 37 miles on the 1951 New Hudson Silver Arrow, which has been my steed of choice these past few weeks. Think I need to grease some bearings on the rear wheel or freewheel because it started making a racket while I was out. After the first few miles I timed myself on an undisturbed 10 mile stretch and managed 32:30, or an 18.5mph pace. Not too bad for a freewheel and about 50 psi in each tire!

First snow-ish ride of the season. Flurries through the morning ride until about noon. I didn’t think I wanted that change quite yet, but being out in it sure was nice.
I also caught the tail end of a local cyclocross race here on the way home from some shopping. Wish I’d known ahead and would have made a day of it.

He told me he sent the artwork to Spectrum Cycles (peeps around the corner from me near the intersection where @johnnyace ran into you on the First Invitational). Oregon Cycle Works supplied the jersey, I believe. They now have the artwork, so go for it!

Last good weather day in the PNW?
With weekend temps in the low 60's, @Andy_K and I took advantage and put in around 30 miles that included a nice climb and some gravel. We'd been riding in the general area for a few years but never turned up one street until more recently. It starts out as a fairly narrow, but inviting tree lined road, goes past some small farms on the hillside, and breaks out into the open near the top with incredible views.

At a country stop sign we ran into 2 other riders. They had 11 miles to get home to some homemade chili. I asked what kind of beer pairing they'd planned. None, they replied. I told them they were doing it wrong before Andy had a chance to say the same.

I rode to work! Might not sound like much but it was my first commute since late May, just before school let out for the summer. I injured my shoulder in August, and just recently was able to start riding again. I missed my short but hilly commute into the Berkeley Hills to start the work day.

Still warm weather mid 50's and no sign of significant snow cover in around Fairplay which normally has a couple feet of snow in places this time of year, I actually miss want some snow. it has been 257 without significant snow a record.. Took the old Nishiki single speed trainer out for a short ride.
Feels looks like mid Summer when there should be foot or more of snow and ice on the trail.
