Sachs New Success shift kit

$150 shipped US for brifters and rear derailleur.

Are you Campy curious but just can’t quit your Shimano lifestyle? This might be your answer! This is 8 speed Campy style ergo shifter with pull ratio for Shimano 8 speed clusters. The bike I pullled this from had a 7 speed cassette and it shifted nicely for this as well. The shifters are nice condition with original Sachs hoods. You will often see these with replacement Campy hoods. I can’t go so far as to call the RD mint but it is very nice with one tiny scuff and dirty pulleys after a just simple wipe down. I’ll add the cassette used with this for $12, I’ll have to dig it out but it’s I think a 12-23 or 25.

I am a huge fan of these, both RD and brifters (with plenty of spares of both that haven’t been needed). The brifters are easily rebuildable with Campy Ergo parts, although I’ve only needed to do that twice in almost thirty years. I’ll note that some are best with Shimano 8-speed spacing (4.8mm), others with Campy 8-speed spacing (5.0mm). These with the black shift “blades” are more likely the former as @Spaghetti Legs says. I have one set of of each in regular use.

The RD’s are very durable. I keep the spares in case any of the pivots get sloppy, but that hasn’t happened in that time. They use a floating upper pulley like Shimano RD’s which makes indexing adjustments very easy.

GLWS!
