Hi from the East Coast

Hi
Been riding bikes most of my life and got our Ebikes Feb of 2020. They have been a game changer for us as we ride all the time now. We are fulltime RVers, still work and travel with our 2 little dogs.
Planning on spending the summer in Maine and enjoying the Acadia NP area.

Maine is absolutely gorgeous for about five months of the year. If you can get there right on time just after the thaw and gnats the summer into fall foliage is like paradise.

Hope you enjoy your new e-bikes and welcome.

Mosquitoes and sometimes black flies into mid August. We skip camping there until fall.

We arrive in Bar Harbor in a few days and leave around the middle of October. This is our 4th year there and we really enjoy our time. Great biking, hiking and lots to do. We can ride right from our campsite to Acadia. We also like to do night rides on the carriage roads, watch the sunset from. Day Mountian and then ride back home. Loop road is nice too.
thank you for the welcomes

Some recommended alternatives for when you are bored with Acadia. Lily Bay State Park, on Moosehead Lake, 10 miles north of Greenville. State campground, no hookups, but has hot showers. Open till mid October, one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever been to. The sites are well spaced, tons of privacy. You can kayak on the lake, bike the forest roads, take a lake cruise. Other location is Cobscook State Park, north of Lubec. On some tidal bays, many sites along the bay, 25 ft. tides, also very private sites. No hookups though (few Maine state campgrounds have hookups, Camden Hills does.
