SP to Son Dyno Hub Question
Considering changing as my SP is having issues. So my question is about wring compatibility. Other than a different "plug" @ the hub is there anything that requies changing?

no, nothing changes other than the plug. I suggest going with the coax connector though. The old style connectors are a pain.

If I recall correctly, several years ago you had a bearing problem with an SP on a tour, I think it was your wife's bike. That was the first I had heard of possible problems on an SP.
Now you are having another problem? What kind of problem? What do I need to worry about?
Mine are rim brake version. Were your problem hubs rim brake version, or disc version? The reason that I ask is when braking on a disc brake version, more stress is applied to the hub. Is one of your problem hubs on a tandem?
I have SP dynohubs on two of my touring bikes, I use one of those bikes for touring in remote areas where a problem hub could be a BIG problem.
