Can I put an XDR driver on a MTB Hub?
The hub is a 12x142 DT Swiss 350, j-bend if it matters. Currently has an HG freehub.
It's in a Boost frame with spacers.
I'm moving to 12 speed, and I want to use a specific cassette (Force XG-1271) that is only XDR compatible.
The XDR driver is 1.85 mm longer than the XD, so if I'm understanding correctly I should be able to use this in a boost frame with a narrower spacer. Will it work?

For anyone else that finds this via search, I'm told it will work by a local mechanic who's tried it.
I'm ditching the idea however since I learned that the cassette I wanted to use (SRAM XPLR gravel) is only compatible with flattop chains.
