I missed the past 2 rides but made it today to the Pasadena Velo Ride. Great turn out with about 15 riders and nice sunny day with a breeze.
Pics dont show all riders...some came later and one pic shows us waiting for our tail to catch up.

Great ride today. Thanks for the nice pics. Nice pic of my ride, but I see I still have some more weight to lose! Rain predicted, glad it stayed away! Here's a couple more pics.

[QUOTE=merziac;19693514]Great work man, thank you and please do keep it up. How many do you think came? I would sure like to see this in PDX.
@jyl had a monthly going for awhile. He'd better hurry up and make Laurelhurst a historic district so he can get back to organizing rides...
Lessee, @rhm does saddles, I've done a few bike repairs, now who we got that repairs horses?

Not me... I only push drugs for humans.
Yeah, @jyl needs to get a ride planned before I melt into the couch. This summer has been lousy for riding.
BTW: I recognize a couple of the locations in those photos- Huntington Drive & Oak Knoll in particular.

I think @jyl will be indisposed through the end of the year at this time, while @gugie has done more than his share of organizing this last summer with 3? epic rides I believe which I was not smart enough to attend. With the crap weather upon us I think our organized ride prospects are grim for awhile, mine are anyway as I am still off the bike for a few more weeks I think.
I don't know if we have any veterinarians, does @rhm do horse saddles too?

I live in South OC. How about starting something like that up down here? Any C&V's in the area?

I've seen riders from as from as far away as Bakersfield and San Diego, maybe farther, on the Pasadena ride. If you don't get OC going, come on up. We don't start till 11, far south parking lot below Rose Bowl, near the Aquatic center, 1st Sunday every month. Usually done around 2.

I'm down in San Diego and try to make it up every couple of months. I had to miss last month, and was all set to make this one, when a cold I'd been fighting decided to come back for another round. Fingers crossed for next month.

Heck, I drove down from Sacramento, spent the night in San Diego, drove up to Pasadena the next morning for the ride and drove back to Sac the same day.

Just get out there and join the ride! I ride with the Portland C&V group on my recumbent, fa' Pete's sake, and they haven't burnt me at the stake... yet.

Mackgoo,
I'm in west oc right by the Coyote Creek trail. My one and only ride is an '84 PH10. Bought it new. I'm the only cv'er in my group. I'm in for an OC cv club.

There is a ride in OC that starts in the Villa Park/Orange area.

I have never been on it but I just learned about it.
