It's probably been posted about 10 times. Except, I remember the lane being red before.

If I understand it, the blinky has two green lasers aimed at the ground that "paint" temporary green lines on the pavement as you ride along to "mark your turf". IMHO it won't exactly make the drivers wake up from their phone calls and text messaging. Good intentions though. I think I'll save my money and buy a reflective vest instead.

multiple reposts, and still exactly as stupid and useless as ever. I don't know exactly what people are trying to accomplish with this. I seriously doubt that a car driver would even see the thing. Buy a reflective vest for $4.

For what this is likely to cost, go over to DinotteLighting.com and buy a 140L taillight, it'll actually WORK.

I think I've posted a response almost exactly like yours in 5 different threads. I don't really understand the attraction. Sure, if you already had a couple of Dinottes and a set of monkylectric lights on your bike, it might be worth it. I still say they should design a laser on a pan tilt that was programmed to print "slow down you idiot" on an overtaking motorist's windshield. I am impressed they actually came up with a way to make this work, but if you track the designers down, it turns out they have worked with laser level systems for construction in previous projects. This is a fairly natural application of those lasers, but fairly pointless.

Dinotte. Now this is how you mark your bike lane:

Lasers and public roadways generally don't mix in ANY sort of legal context

Seems a money-making-scheme gimmick to me. Much better to get good lighting, as has already been suggested.

I tracked down the people that designed it. They are in new product development, specifically the way things look as opposed to the way they work. I'm guessing business is slow.

One of those neon "underbody" kits would make more sense than this thing.
