Update -- finally got the jackets in the mail today -- 10 wheels and blackwalnut please be on the lookout and let me know when they arrive safely. Finally, if they don't fit you or suit your needs, please use this thread to pass them on.

OK, I've thought about these, now that I have them, and as much as I'd like to try clipless again, its simply going to be too much of an additional complication for me as I relearn how to ride hard. Size 47, which is like a size 12.5-13 US, and 100 per cent free to the first respondent.

Photo of the shoes on my Clyde hooves, taken five minutes after I got them.

Neil - My Diadore's from the late 1800's are "already" worn out. But...they're "vintage" (ask Trojan Horse...he'll tell you!). Anyway, I think these will fit me and I could really use a new pair of shoes. If they're still available, I'd be most grateful. And, keeping with the spirit of this thread, if they are too big, I'll pass them on to someone else here in need. If you use PayPal, please let me know your email so I can pay for shipping. I'll respond with my shipping address. Thanks!

Shoes are yours. If I'm ever in CA, perhaps I can visit them.

I have a pair of size 49 (14) pearl Izumi select road shoes brand new, in the box, if anybody wants them. Pay for shipping and they're yours. I got them on clearance and they were too big, but no returns, so I ordered some 48 Wide Lake shoes instead.

PJ....If they don't fit I'd be interested in them after you. Might end up being some well traveled shoes!

I realized this was months ago....

I thought this was covered in the initial post by Tom, but have been proven wrong. The forum guidelines for "pay-it-forward" threads prohibit any requests for free stuff. This thread is only for those who have stuff to offer. Requests will have to be deleted.
