Univega ItalSport - $80 - Chicago
I wish the seller had included more photos of the bike and fewer of all the included accessories, but this is listed as a Univega ItalSport (with a helmet, floor pump, bag, lights, etc) for $80 in Chicago.

The other Soma.
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...330697332.html
A vintage racing bike with downtube gear shifters and a leather seat.
SOMA "Competition" 1980s frame, Continental Gatorskin tyres (32-630 ERTRO / 27 x 1 1/4 inch), Shimano 600 derailleur, vintage original leather seat.
Great condition overall. Was ridden in Boston and on trips to Cape Cod and to Maine all through 2019 and 2020.
Kept inside a shed for years.
Needs cleaning of brake springs as they have slightly jammed due to a winter ride (post snow cleaning). Some wear to original paint as expected from a 30+ year old frame. Hence the price drop.
No problems with the bike overall since I had it.
Be ready for compliments from friends or cycle buddies on its looks.
Only selling as have too many bikes now and need more storage space.

'84 Pro Miyata CL Minneapolis. Suntour Superbe Pro. Looks like it's in great condition. Seller originally listed a year ago for $750 and has now dropped price to $550. Bet there's decent room to get them even lower:

$20 Peugeot. Even as a donor cycle it's well worth that....
https://madison.craigslist.org/bik/d...331360112.html
A Project for You? Early 80s Peugeot Road Frame and Assorted Parts - $20 (Regent)Early 1980s Peugeot road bike frame, mostly original parts including downtube shifters, center-pull brakes, and original derailers. I don't consider the front fork to be in rideable condition, but the rest of the frame is perfect.
I was hoping to resurrect this bike, but now think this project might be better suited to someone else. I am including the replacement parts I obtained (Modern drop bars, a stem to fit them, and aero brake levers) as well as the original stem and bars, though the latter are unfortunately bent and also corroded. Ok, you don't have to take those if you don't want.
This bike obviously needs some love, and it now seems a bit beyond my experience. Hope someone out there can get it rolling again.
P.S. The link cables for the brake arms are inside the masking tape bundle located to the right of the old handlebars in the photo.

Schwinn Voyager 11.8 Road Bike - $60 (Lexington)
Schwinn Voyageur bike with new cables, excellent tires. Ready to ride; just tuned up. Nice lugged chromoly frame. I upgraded the original drop bars to Bontrager trekking bars. Continental (front) and Bell (rear) 27" tires in great shape. You probably want to be over 6 feet tall to ride this.

St. Louis, MO
Rust issues in places and wheels look bad but overall seems nice
Original owner 1954 English “Rocket” ladies bike - $120 (AFFTON)
Selling in behalf of elderly neighbor. She brought this bike with her to the states in the early 60s from her home in England.
The bike is 3 speeds and they are working. The brakes are also in working order. The grips were gone so these are some new ones but I think they need to be glued on or something. They are cork but don’t really stay on the bars well.
Not sure how to price a bike I’ve not seen another of over here so we’re comfortable at $120. The nearly 70 year old working running gear should be with that I imagine.
