Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm actually surprised at the number of nice houses with the mostly-unused crappy jet tub and a little phone booth shower instead of a nice glorious shower that people actually use every day.

Now you are describing our bath. Wife uses the tub, but no the jets.

We debate remodeling it, but maybe after the wedding.

Some people can fill them up. Mrs John would take a shot at it.

Hey bampilot06, question about the biz:

The last few times I've been mowing at the church I spotted jets flying nearly overhead. That used to be rare.

What changed with the routing in and out of TYS, and why?

I talked to ATC about ways to annoy you. They asked for your location and now vector the jets that way. I am glad it’s working.

In all seriousness, I have know idea. I just checked runway closures and Instrument approach changes and don’t see anything . Maybe new noise as abatement procedures are in place? Enough people close to an airport complain about noise they start making the aircraft fly over new areas.

Is there a website to look up flight rules by airport?

It's not all the flights, just every now and then, which is another mysterious element.

Coffee time. Had to carefully balance the Moka pot on this stove. The hole in the trivet is a bit big.

BITD F-15s from Luke AFB would go supersonic over our house all the time, rattled the windows a little bit.
