Bike show

Hopefully others will chime in on the bike swap meet in Monroe Michigan. It was formerly held in Ann Arbor. It was my first time there and I was only after parts as I have too many bikes. The vendors were practically giving stuff away. I hope to hear about any bike purchases made there. I walked out with a guy who bought a Raleigh Super Course a piece at a time he said and then had to assemble it all. Lots of nice stuff and very friendly people.

I had hoped to go but I got the dates mixed up and had to work today. Hopefully next year. I have been to Ann Arbor in years past as well as the Memory Lane show in Bowling Green.

One item I did get was a vintage Shimano shop box with cogs for 5 and 6 speed uniglide freehubs. It has perhaps 20 cogs of various sizes. I haven’t sorted it yet, but I may be able to help others out in the future keeping those running.

I picked up a couple jerseys, a set of Sidi road shoes, a Garmin computer mount, an Ultegra chain, and a couple of early 90's Paramount brochures.

I had attended the show in AA off and on for years. There is more room in Monroe and vendors were a bit more spread out. NTTAWWT.

They had more food vendors than I remember in years past and the Monroe fairgrounds have more bathroom facilties, too.
