Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We drove two hours south for a seed fair this morning. All three of us remarked at how green everything is. Normally everything is brown and toasted at the beginning of May. Year without a dry season. Rain begins in earnest the middle of June.

Im sure you milked a cow though, being a descendant of dairy farmers. You also probably know it’s best not to try to milk the males.

2 great rides this weekend 50 on Saturday. Had a couple of nice 27mph pulls, that surprised me.
Today's ride was great. I had a blast even though I felt like absolute poo. I don't know what I ate yesterday but it did not sit well with me today. My guts were churning the entire ride. Plus I'm still dealing with this neck/shoulder thing. I still managed to apply some respectable pressure upon the other riders. I hit 34 mph in the first sprint and was just gone. So I went early, sue me. Lol. I love this ride. It's only 44 miles but they really pack in the work. I'm sore big time.

decided to go for the PCR. I hope I don't have to do many more of them. Felt like they were trying to extract my brain though my nose. I have few enough brain cells to spare for repeated testing.

Does the modern dairy farmer deliver calves? Or do they call a vet?

Regardless, horse riding is in my DNA. My niece has been in contests and stuff. She has issues.

Someone should make that app, but nope, a friend from Nevada posted about some snow activity at her home, so I thought I'd check some of the nearby weather stations.

Of course the worst weather for me would be 99°, 90% humidity, calm wind.
Second place bad weather is 30° - 40° and raining/snowing.

Tomatoes? Beans? Squash? Some greens?

What's the key to finding the best seeds?
