I realized completely by accident that a post I made in the "Celebrities on Bikes" thread is gone. I'm assuming it was deleted, though I have no idea why. It was a post by another member which I quoted - his original post is there, but mine no longer is. I was not notified of any violation on my part, so...what's up with that?
The post to which I refer is my quote of post #531 on page 22.

My post is no longer there. Just trying to find out when/why it was deleted. I would think if it were against the rules of the Forum I'd have gotten a courtesy contact to let me know what my sin was as well as notification that my post was deleted. Since I've had neither, I am questioning what happened.
So far, I've been told it's still there and you've linked once to the incorrect page and another time to a post I made long ago, post #312.
If you review after post #531 you will not see any further posts on the thread from me. There should be one. Since it's gone, I can only assume it's been removed. All I'm trying to do is figure out what it is that I did to have it removed.

What? Your post makes no sense. The thread in question currently stands at page 23. I'm pretty sure it shows up as 23 pages to everyone else, too. Why wouldn't it?

Okay, I went for a look see. You weren't imagining things- there was a post of yours that quoted another that was removed- but YOU deleted it. Reason? " Too few characters, apparently". The post just contained the quote and a question mark.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I went through all my personal stuff on my profile, trying to see if I could figure it out on my own. Looking through my posts, I noticed a lot of them don't show up on my profile, but they're still in the threads, so that wasn't much help. I believe that's a glitch that's been brought up by others before, so I wasn't too concerned about that. But I was concerned about possibly doing something to upset the Mods; something against the forum rules.
Thanks for clearing this up. It assures me I've been being a good boy.
My apologies to both you and 10 Wheels for inadvertently sending you guys off on a wild goose chase!
