FedEx delivery today, it's on truck!! But they're replacing the 1930's era infrastructure and today's work includes our driveway.

Ahhh, NY. The super rides a Trek he bought from the equipment operator who now rides a Pinerello. When FedEx gets stopped at the end the block, they'll come get me.

BTinNYC Hey, it's a new bike.... I think I'd be there at the barricade to meet FedEx so they don't just blow on by!

JohnDThompson So where did they leave the note if there was a bear in the driveway?

No bears in the driveway!

They crew pointed FedEx to the house, driver walked the box half a block, and I have my 4th new bicycle.
1. Sears 3 speed, '68ish,
2. Varsity for my 12th birthday '72,
3. Motobecane Nomade, '81, bought during college and still in regular rotation,
4. Endurace SL with all the goodies, my saddle and tape.

Nice, and good on the FedEx driver to put in the extra effort to walk it to you.

I guess the FedEx driver knew how nice that bike was and made the extra effort. Congratulations on the new purchase. I haven't bought new since my Trek 800 Antelope in 1994!

Bear in the drive way, that's too funny. Probably better a bear than a moose!

Avoid the driveway
I've walked around a moose at the porch. OK, I walked around the building when the moose was licking salt off the steps, and went in the back door. I'd stay in the car if it had been a bear!

And OP, that's a nice looking bike! Can it handle the road construction on your street?

Yes, GP 5000 S TR. 30mm, measure 31. Rode them at 85 psi. This bike really smooths out the road and the tires have to be part of that equation.

Thanks for the compliments 😊.
