Track bike tools

Hi, could anyone recommend a tool or tools that makes working on track bikes easier/better/faster in some way. Trying to think of gifts for a track cyclist. Thanks in advance.

Your question makes no sense. What part of the bike is the gift-getting going to be working on? Changing wheels? Changing cogs? Chainrings? Every track racer needs a 1/8" chain whip, most likely a 15mm wrench for wheel nuts, and whatever it takes to change their particular chainrings.

Track bikes use 15mm nuts to secure the wheels as all tracks I've ever been on QR is not allowed.
I think your friend might appreciate a high-end 15mm wrench from Rene Herse.
It has a beautiful finish, looks and feels really nice and it's not too outrageously priced for a gift. Campagnolo has a similar one but it's nearly two times this price. Both of these can also be used for spreading peanut butter.

It says 'crank wrench' but it in fact a 15mm wrench that will work on all 15mm nuts and bolts.
If you're super nerdy here's a little article on some other nice 15mm wrenches

I think the question makes perfect sense.
+1 on a 1/8 chain whip and a 15mm wrench, but I'll add that the hozan c203 will change your life -- puts all the ****** stamped lockring tools to shame.

A nice Abbey track chain whip would be a nice gesture. The very best you can buy in my opinion.
