Hope you or anybody close to you doesn't get involved with an unlicensed driver in his unregistered motor car or truck, w/o insurance who swears that all that small stuff is just nonsense.

Some people have way too much time on their hands and worry about everything. Sounds like you're one of them.

You realize it's an infraction and not criminal in most places, right? Again cops have better things to do.

I don't get one because I don't worry about the small stuff. Makes no difference.

So ... help me clarify things here ...

Are you saying that you do not have a driver's licence, but that if you wanted to drive somewhere you'd have no compunction about hopping in a car and driving somewhere?

What are you talking about?? Did I say anything is "OK" or otherwise approve? No.

I do a few times a year, yes. I don't drink either so I've been known to give drunk friends a ride home after the "supposedly DD" gets drunk themselves. I don't drive to, for example, go out and have fun or go shopping etc.

I'm in the same position. My driver's DL is expired and it will remain that way forever. It still serves it purpose as identification.

We are a Nation of Laws, they are not Optional.
If one wishes to willingly violate them involvement in the criminal justice system from misdemeanor to felony will have a variety of very unpleasant consequences.
Ours is a humorless and punitive system, flaunting it for no real reason is a petulant juvenile game that will have lingering adult consequences.
