i think about buying a new bike multiple times per day. i shop for a new bike daily.....
I'be been down to only 3 bikes and thought I was cured until 3 weeks ago is when I got a Merckx Motorola bike from 90s. Still have not taken it for a shakedown ride. The most notable thing I learned is how amazing the campy hubs spin!

Did you watch until the end? There was a massive pileup with only a few laps to go. They brought out the yellow flag then resumed racing with only one or two laps left. Thanks to the crash, there were only a couple of riders left who could win it. The Cutters finished second.
I watched a few laps, they were hauling out there!

Guy on the ride tonight with a bike very much like that one. His names Andy and he had me going 32 mph tonight. Aaaaaannnndd.... I had a 170 bpm heart rate chasing his ass.
I got home from work, hot and almost windless. Came out 45 minutes later....62 degrees and falling with 25 mph winds from the north. We rode anyways. Freezing!
My heart rate finally started coming up into the 160s last couple rides. Starting to feel pretty good!.
