BTW in case anyone is wondering, I am still around but quite distracted with work and my sister's health issues. So if I seem absent it's only because I am busy.

I was hyping up these Hutchinson Fusion 5 tires but noticed the rear leaked air quicker compared to the front. I put roughly 1200 - 1400 miles on these and now feel uncomfortable going on a ride... Damn!

I have something similar and have not found it very useful. In other cases, when switching wheels, just putting a bungie on the lever and cranking the bolts works just fine.

I think I'll stick with my method till I run out of obsolete business cards. Only 239 more to go!

I set up disc brakes using the lever most of the time, down at the shop. The times that method doesn't yield satisfactory results, the Hayes gauge works most of the time. If neither method is working out for me, it's because the rotor isn't true. Most of the time.

BTW, the rjones28 Bicycle Repair Facility does not posses a disc brake alignment tool. I consider it a productivity tool and productivity has no place in our shop.

Some tyres weep a bit when new but seal up and work just fine for miles and miles.

Doing the Stan's shake immediately after first inflation with fresh sealant helps seal the weeps a bit.

Mine is actually a slightly different tool and maybe I’m not using it right. I’m sure your higher skill level makes everything a lot easier.

I mean. It's just a fancy strip of metal. I did rib the shop owner a bit for putting one at every mechanic's station.

Tales of my "higher skill level" are somewhat exaggerated. Except my awesome bar tape wrapping skills, of course.
