Is there a Canadian version of the frame don't fit?
Wondering if there was ever a post for those living up north of the 49th parallel or even our bordering neighbours to talk bike swaps or sales? I have a bike or 2 I might be interested in trading if the right bike was out there?

I'm in the greater Toronto area as I know several other forum members are as well. jfouelette, you are a lot closer to me than randyjawa that's for sure. 
There's always meeting half way.
Here's what I would have to offer to start. Love this bike but the frame is just a bit too big for me. Rides super smooth, Shimano 600 Arabesque shifters, FD and RD, original wheels.

I am in Toronto.
Bikes frames that I would trade for the right frame:
87 Specialized Allez 56. Has a velocolour "one-colour-special" paint job. Panel is a sticker that is easily removed.

Hey prairiepedlar, funny that's a nick name people call me. The bikes that fit me best are my 56 cm or 22 " which the Sakai is. I'm about 5'11" but for some reason this bike feels taller than that. I can ride it no problems (longer legs then torso) but it's not the same as my 1985 Peugeot UO 14 though both have the same seat tube length.
Clubman, the other end of the GTA out west in Oakville. That's the 16 mile creek behind me and I can tell you those trees back there keep me very busy raking leaves in the fall.
Strathconaman, I'll take all three! ha ha That Steve Bauer is super nice. Followed that thread with envy as Steve was the reason I got into cycling back in the 80's after his win on the stage tour. Because of him, I bought this 1985 Peugeot UO 14 before he started putting his name on bikes but I always have a peak at any bike listings I see with his name on it.

Have 58cm Raleigh Supercourse frame and fork and nice-feeling headset, no dents/bends but ugly; Worksop built Jan 1979 so 24 TPI.
Would trade for a similar condition/quality (or better?) 54cm french frame not Peugeot - Mercier, Lejeune, Follis (yes please)...
