How do you all feel about Famous Dave's? Obviously if you live in the right state this place probably sucks compared to what you can find locally, but up here in the north, I'd have to say it's great BBQ!

@jpdesjar
I suggest against hold-fast, power grips and feetbelts as they are not made for real riding. Yea they are good for tricking (and downhill mountain biking, power grips original use) but they apply pressure in the wrong spots when you are actually riding any kind of distance.
@allez
lol is the prolly's bike? bacon would probably work much better than hold fasts.
@RoboIsGod
You are probably being bashed because you embody two of the stereotypes of a hipster (Vegan, fixed gear rider). A lot of people on this forum are absolutely disgusted by and adverse to being called a hipster or being associated with anything that even remotely is associated with the hipster sub-culture (if you can call it that).
Now here is a quote about vegan cyclists.
"...and vegans are supposed to be peace-loving people just like cyclists are, so they probably don't want to fight me either. (Of course, the meekest of all people are vegan cyclists, who can be beaten into submission with stalks of steamed asparagus.)"

I seriously can not believe whats going on in this thread. I asked a simple question about non-leather toe straps, get completely bashed and challenged because of my belief system, and when I try to defend myself I'm again demonized and labeled as a self righteous idiot. Where is the respect here? it would be one thing if I out right said "anyone who isn't a vegan is a dumb moron and i think they are stupid." All I did was ask a question!
Why is everyone so adverse to anything that isn't the norm, anything that isn't accepted by all of society? I'm getting harassed because of a life style choice I make. Seriously how old is everyone here? People are ranting about how much they love meat, just to make me feel like crap. Have I done anything to badger or hurt you?

Number three reason for being an opinionated vegan asshat: Playing the victim and feeling sorry for one's self. You did not just ask a question. It may have started out that way, but you said yourself you enjoy debating. So, don't go feeling all sorry for yourself now. Seriously, you make a choice, it's your choice. If it was just that, people would respect you. But no, you go around expounding your own glory for making the choice, criticizing others and don't make any friends then you want to ****ing cry about how we're all *******s? Go eat a bowl of soy dick.
that and all the engineered foods they eat I mean seriously gluten free vegan cupcakes look like a frigin stool sample
did you ever start to think that all the hydrogenated oils and salts you people consume could be worse for your vascular system than a diet containing meat?

And in stark contrast to all the other sXe photos posted.

Not a fan of militant, tough guy bull****. But its not nice to make fun of others for their life choices.
