The 2021 Commuting Mileage Thread!
Well... Thank God That's Over!!! In hindsight 2020 SUCKED!!! I've managed to survive everything that's been going on. I've re-upped yet again at the English school in China I've been working for, and as such, it has kept me safe and employed throughout the dumpster fire of last year. Happy New Year!!! So, it's now 2021 (at least for me it is). That means it's time for the newest edition of the Commuting Mileage Thread! I know I'm not that active on the forums, but I still don't have a car, want a car (or even like cars for that matter), and I'm still riding my bike almost every day).
For reference, here's the link to the 2020 thread, the 2019 thread, and a link to the 2018 thread to compare how everyone did over the last few years! If you check out this link to the 2017 thread, you'll find links to earlier year's editions.

For me, 2020 ended emotionally like the dumpster fire it was (thanks in large part to the continued stress coming from the Maryland/Virginia border area).... I'm still praying that the rest of the 2020s will better (I don't want to know how much worse it could get).

It's -4°C (24.8°F) outside (not including the wind chill), and the snow on the ground is a little over a day old. As it never warmed up yesterday, it's still a crunchy dry snow that packs down under my wheels when I'm on it, but the main roads have been pretty well cleared. I'll need to get on the bike a little later today, but I'm not looking to do any kind of serious distance.

I just started commuting to work this month.
So far, 50km in these 3 days.
Im aiming to do at least 100km a weeks
