FS: Vintage Leather Saddles
BOTH SOLD! Thanks!
https://www.bikeforums.net/g/album/22455192
Two leather saddles looking for a home. Both black. Both about 17cm wide with the measuring tape, but they sure feel like a 15cm Brooks B17 narrow..... which is like..... 15cm wide, so why not call it a B15?
Anyway, back on topic: Both black.
Ideale' - dunno what it's worth. Probably $1,000,000 on eBay. But after fees and shipping, I'll end up with $30. How 'bout $30 plus shipping. Make an offer.
- I "blocked" this saddle as the shape when I got it had a severe ridge down the middle. Here's a folder of photos I was going to do a write up on. But I got distracted and went for a bike ride: https://www.bikeforums.net/g/album/19676518
- I painted the rails with Rustoleum. So they are black. If patina is important, I ruined the rail-patina. sorry.
Middlemore - I road this a bit on my 2 speed. We just never got along. The rails are silver....ish. Dunno how much it's worth. I've never seen one before. So I'll start the bidding at $10,000.
- or if you're in a pinch: $30 plus shipping. You can make an offer too. you won't hurt my feelings.
cheers.

The entertainment value of the read of your copy was much higher than your prices! Thanks for making me snicker! Dave

Middlemore saddle was standard on mid 70's Viscounts. The holes in the sides were for lacing.
