I have a Shimano 600EX (MF-6207) 6 speed, 13-23T freewheel available. Very minor wear on the cogs, but there is some damage to the body where a remover slipped.

I have one, but what parts are you trying for? This is a rear and does not have the cable clamp-pinch bolt or square "washer" that grabs the cable, AND the cable housing adjuster (tho I may be able to find one, no guarantee) otherwise all is there and condition is "good"

PM me, here is a recent pic, I have more

I can confirm that it will. The levers look to be Exage levers, SLR is "Shimano Linear Response". I had good hoods on some scraped up Exage levers where the plastic shrouds had cracked, so I found a pair of these with a single truly awful hood, but pristine levers and plastic bits, and made the swap.

Edit: Nevermind that. Exage levers have a little 'ear' down by the pivot. The levers in the post strongly resemble 105 levers. Specifically BL-1051 with white hoods.

no prob, and who knows I might have some 105 lever hoods but not sure if they'd be white, more likely black if any at all

Longshot here, but ... Need a decent MTB/ATB wheelset, nothing super fancy, daily rider quality. You know, the kind of wheels you'd find at a garage sale for a Hamilton or Jackson note.
.(ALL GOOD NOW, THANKS EVERYONE!)
  • 26" (559mm) alloy rims, laced to alloy hubs, 100/135 OLD for front/rear, pre-laced is ideal
  • "Would prefer": Rims straight, QR'd hubs, cassette- or freewheel-ready, and spokes structurally sound
  • "Don't care": Doesn't need to have tires, tubes, nor do I need them cleaned, freshly packed, trued, tensioned, I'll do all the work.

I found a MTB curbside. Frame was AL so I jumped on it. Donated several pairs of suitable wheels to SOPO co-op last year with two dozen frames from carcasses to complete, so I'm kicking myself for not having the parts on-hand, but the co-op needed all that more than me.

I can trade, can give cash if local. If you're willing to pack, I can email a label to ship in exchange for the packed box weight and dimensions. If you're local, I have at least two dozen 27" and 700c wheelsets to trade, mild to wild in value.

Post-rinse pre-wash pics for reference. Nothing fancy, but once I ditch the little steel bits it should be a pretty light ride perfect for our nearby granite-chunk-heavy trails.

I'll be honest, I've never fully understood the difference between 559 and 26". I probably have been mistakenly assuming ' 26" ' was a generic term to describe a range of wheels that fit all xTB generally, all within a few mm of each other (edit: Ok, I get it now. 559 is the standard rim size, 26" is roughly what the tire measured out at after inflation. Learn something new every day...)

I just ran down a free functional parts bike curbtender shared earlier. Haven't heard back. Been listed for a month so I suspect it's a dead end.

@francophile, 559 is the actual measurement, and it's an unambiguous way of saying MTB size (26") tires. There are other 26" sizes:

Schwinn S6 = 597mm
650a = 590mm aka 26x1-3/8"
650b = 584mm aka 27.5 which is a stupid designation
650c = 571mm

This is not even an exhaustive list. If you are not confused yet, you are not normal.

I am looking for some Campy bearing retainers for headsets. Condition is not a problem and bearing surface is not either. I will be refurbishing them for a few headsets. I have plenty of stuff to trade, and even a few dead green presidents if needed. Thanks in Advance smiles, MH

I'm working on a 1970s Record one today.

Just for reference, these retainers hold a 20-count of 3/16" balls.

Sorry about that. I deleted after posting because I saw someone else post it was a scam. You may also want to post what the gears are, I'm guessing 8 speed.

I'll edit in a sec, but to answer your Q it's running an Acera 7spd group now, which may or may not stay. I have a park TS-2 and a dishing gauge, I can handle mild tweaks as long as the base wheels are solid.

Thanks for the thought, but I'll leave that to someone restoring a Panasonic-made Voyager or LeTour.

LAST CHANCE ...FREE SHOES : CORRECTION ON SIZING
If anyone can use them great I will send them off just for the cost of shipping them, if not they will go to the G.W.
I may have pedals for these but will need to check.
The Black ones read 48 and have "no" straps...show very little use.
The Silver ones read 49(?) and are used.
Please see the pics and respond "only" with a PM.
Best, Ben

I might have some pedals for these and if I find them they'll go too.

sliver 49 Black 48

I have 8 speed Acera hubs from around that time, and some single wall Ritchey Vantage hoops if you want to build your own. Will trade for a decent saddle or 1" road stem.
